Heather Grzych interviews UC Berkeley psychology researcher Felicia Zerwas about the social dynamics of emotion regulation and emotional suppression. Felicia discusses what happens when emotions are expressed and not expressed, clarifying terms like emotional suppression, reappraisal and acceptance.
