Amadea Morningstar works with Ayurveda, Polarity Therapy, and Accessible Yoga. She’s been dancing with Ayurveda since 1983 as an educator, writer and cook. She is the director of the Ayurveda Polarity Therapy & Yoga Institute. Her early writing includes the bestselling Ayurvedic Cookbook with Urmila Desai. Her recent publications are Easy Healing Drinks from the Wisdom of Ayurveda and a chapter on Ayurveda in Leininger’s Transcultural Nursing, 4th Edition (2018) with Joanna Basuray Maxwell. She’s been named one of the top Ayurvedic bloggers on the web. Amadea has taught at Omega, Kripalu, the Sivananda Ashrams, and at home in Ghost Ranch and Santa Fe, New Mexico. In her work as an Ayurvedic nutrition educator, she consults with people around the planet. A Registered Polarity Educator, she has a MA in counseling and a BS in nutrition. One chief delight for Amadea is the integration of Polarity Therapy with Marma Therapy in a variety of contexts.
